Representing Our Communities

Hiring diverse teams starts with attracting from diverse talent pools.

We advertise our vacancies outside of security industry circles and welcome applications from anyone with the right personal qualities and attitude.

We create opportunities for all prospective officers to start their careers in the security industry.

New officers at DSS have the option to obtain their SIA licence through our sponsorship scheme. In return for time in service, we cover up to 100% of the training cost - entirely removing the financial barrier to entry.

The DSS sponsorship scheme opens the door for anyone to apply for our roles.

All security coordinators and site security managers must have a minimum of a L5 Diploma in Security Management because DSS strongly believes experience needs to be underpinned with a relevant qualification.
